Coming Soon, Fall of 2025
To make the community’s vision come alive at Freedom Academy, the school founders are committed to getting families deeply invested in the school.
We envision a place where families are volunteering
monthly, becoming part of the learning experience, celebrating the success of students, and
reimagining the storytelling of their history shared in a real way that feels personal. They envision Freedom Academy as the rock of the community and a resource center that empowers families.
The founders imagine
doing similar projects that involve the community to get students and their families engaged with the
world around them, and to bring the community into Freedom Academy. Most importantly, the
founders will focus on first understanding the community, making FALA accessible for all,
continuing to build trusting and lasting relationships, and finding ways to utilize effective
communication channels.
